Electrical Installation Preston
Manufacturing electrical installation completed for Expac (Preston) Ltd.
Expac are a BRC registered organisation certified to the Global Standard for Consumer Products. Dealing directly with the end user on this project made the project very personable and efficient, resulting in straight to the point brief in which we were engaged from the planning stage of the project. Working closely with key managers and the directors themselves the whole factory was designed around efficient processing of the factory to create a ‘Green’ Expac.
The project consisted of complete electrical installation, from increasing the incoming supply cable to the building we completed all the liason with the DNO. We installed new ducting from the upgraded transformer adjacent to the site to the electrical plant room within the factory. The electrical upgrade included total distribution throughout the factory from the main MCCB panel to the designed load banks strategically positioned throughout the factory. The main processing installation consisted of the manufacture of overhead power banks to allow flexibility within the production line to inter change equipment based on the demands of the order book.
Continued expansion and growth lead to the commissioning of the alcohol filling plant in where Simon Dean were instrumental in the design and installation. Having a strong relationship with the Expac team, Simon Dean knew we could deliver this project to the highest standards and meet the requirements of the Directors whilst minimising spending.
