Mossley Station involved complete rewiring of the station, platforms and car park whilst the station remained open and operational at all times.
Working innovatively to install the new containment and duct work we were able to install the new equipment whilst leaving the existing equipment in place. This methodical approach left the station worry free with all their usual switching, overrides and timers in place throughout the installation.
The installation at Mossley Station, Manchester, saw us install the latest LED lighting across the station to meet the lighting LUX levels required.
Simon Dean completed the majority of the works in house in conjunction with our civils division completing all ground works, duct works, all electrical works, painting and decorating, subcontracting only the suspended ceiling installation and the tarmac reinstatement works.
The project was handed back on time with approval from Network Rail and Northern Rail with zero accidents and engineers even aiding station staff to prevent a fatality.
Operation & Maintenance Manual complete with As Built AutoCAD drawings returned to the client for approval.
